OK,
Now I need to know what version of DirectX you have:
Run this program. I really want the first page. I see that an important DirectX function isn't working on your computer.
I can also make a kit which pops up a message, but first show me this information.

I'll make a special kit just for you which will report the error in a popup message box. My guess is a lack of resources, we'll see.

OK,
It crashed during an error reporting call, my fault. Sadly this shows that we do have a problem with your computer's installation. In this kit I've added popup error message boxes, you will probably see two. I would like screenshots of these popups, they tell me all the info that's available.

Good Morning Simon,
Here is the screen capture. Please note there is only one popup and it doesn't go away. I have to end the task in order to close the program.
