MIDI isn't a new interface. It's just an alternative way to give commands to an existing interface.
That's why it's extremely useful with Pluto and similar devices (for which I recommend the RIT) that don't have their own commands like a radio.

Dear Simon,
to build a full radio with pluto (may be on a raspberry...) the only feature we need is the ability to move RIT via MIDI command.
It is necessary, for example, on the QO-100 where the correspondent is not always isofrequency and SDR Console with Pluto is really widespread.
