Not getting full bandwidth on RSPDUO

#1

Unread post by KO4PRE »

I am using and RSPDUO with the bandwidth set to 10MHZ. I have 3 receivers at the FT8 frequencies for 10M, 12M, and 15M. When I select the 15M receiver, the audio on the 10M receiver goes away. The greatest spread between the receivers with audio on all 3 is about 5 MHz.

How can I get receiver audio across the full 10MHz bandwidth of the RSPDUO?

Thanks,

Select the middle frequency radio (24MHz) then on the Home tab, in the "Radio" section, press "Lock". See picture:

This locks the radio local oscillator and you can then select any of the three radios without losing top or bottom one. With bandwidth of 10MHz this gives you virtual receiver coverage coverage 24MHz plus or minus 5MHz.

To verify I tried it on my RSP2 and it works fine.

Hope it helps.
