Reduce processor demands by reducing the spectrum resolution and update rates. That's about all I can suggest as fixes.

RTL-SDR v4 does not work with SDR Console
Re: RTL-SDR v4 does not work with SDR Console
Your reply caused me to check this and discovered an interesting result. Making changes to waterfall speed or resolution makes no difference at all. However, I can use "Highest" latency with a bandwidth of 500 kHz. All other bandwidth options will cause the problem. Though I had a couple of instances just now where 1 MHz appeared to work but generally not.
Additionally, when running 2 MHz with a default waterfall speed and a resolution of 10 (my typical settings), the processor as reported by SDRC is around 5-11% on HF so while my machine is crappy, it is not super crappy (technical term).
I would tentatively argue that the difference in load on a machine between "High" and "Highest" latency is almost a distinction of no difference given the overall load on my machine.
Therefore it suggests to me an obscure bug that only presents itself if multiple dependencies are met with respect to SDRC settings and radio and computer hardware cocktail used.
Given my discovery, as far as Lars goes, it would be interesting if reducing bandwidth would matter in his case. Though in my case, the maximum stable 2.4 MHz bandwidth works fine with the RTL-SDR Blog V3.

Re: RTL-SDR v4 does not work with SDR Console
Has this problem been resolved because I seem to be having the same problem with my Nooelec NESDR SMArt v5?
It was working fine for a week, then suddenly stopped working with those same symptoms. I have tried all the recommended troubleshooting, reinstalling, poking at the files and registry, changing all the settings I could and nothing seems to make any difference. The radio works just fine on every other software so I suspect the problem is something in SDRC.

Are you using the latest build of SDRC? V3.4 Beta?Doragoon wrote: Sat May 31, 2025 5:29 pm Has this problem been resolved because I seem to be having the same problem with my Nooelec NESDR SMArt v5?
