omnirig can miss tuning

For my ic756pro I can click the waterfall or rf spectrum to tune, but it is not reliable, it will miss, and the logs say this when it happens:
SDR>Ext IC-756 Pro> Frequency 7.179.400, BLOCKED

I have confirmed this is the only omnirig piece of software that has this issue (hdsdr and others never mistune).
