I have a problem, SDR Console freezes, mostly when I use the satellite function.
You can still hear the sound, but the interface freezes completely and there is no error message.
I have to close the program using the task manager.
I have already tested all functions that affect the graphics card, this is not the problem.
I have a AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor and RTX 3060 32GB Ram, i use the 64 bit Edition.

Re: SDR Console freeze
Which version are you running? If not the latest build of 3.3 then update then try again:RadioSDR wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2024 7:09 am I have a problem, SDR Console freezes, mostly when I use the satellite function.

If already on latest build I'd be inclined to back up your data (Favourites/layouts etc) then do full uninstall and reinstall.
Maybe before you do that, try opening a different identity and see if it exhibits same issue?

Re: SDR Console freeze
i have the newest version...
i install complete new... multiple times...
I only used one identity...
Apparently this only happens in the satellite function.
That's what I've found out so far, after a few minutes the screen freezes, always!

Re: SDR Console freeze
Create a new identity. Sometimes an identity can get internally messed up enough that it does not work right.
Is it possible something is disturbing USB connections such as a connector not making good contact? Look into your physical plant. This is not a problem that's been reported before. This might even signal a disk drive failing. And the gorilla in the room is the potential for a virus infection. You might be trying to squeeze more video performance out of the machine than it wants to give, particularly if you are trying to video capture your session, for example.
Make sure the BIOS is up to date, the video card drives are up to date, and windows is up to date. At least for diagnostic reasons make sure nothing else is eating up resources on the machine.

Re: SDR Console freeze
I've been having a similar problem for about 2 weeks
When i set radio in RTX mode with LIME SDR MINI USB, the program SDR Consoll ( last beta version) try to start , but after 5 seconds it crashes.
If I start it only as RX I have no problems, but until September everything was working perfectly.
I have not changed drivers and the PC is well equipped (Intel I7- 16GB Ram - 2GB Grafic card)
Maybe is this a Windows 11 problem?

Re: SDR Console freeze
Arnaldo, I'd check if the power supply voltage on the Lime SDR dips when you go into TX mode. I seem to remember the old Lime I have needed an external power source to supplement the USB power. Alternatively lowering the sample rate might help. You need a higher sample rate when you do RX and TX rather than RX only.
