Good afternoon All.
I have an instance of SDR Console dedicated to tracking SSTV capable satellites for decoding and automatic uploading to an online gallery. Whilst I make a reasonable effort to ensure the satellite priority is up to date based on expected activity, it is not uncommon for a satellite to start transmitting images with no warning. Unfortunately in this case that satellite may have a lower priority, thus having another satellite stealing focus part way through a pass and missing out on images.
What I would like to be able to do is automate the process, such that when I decode an image (toolchain external to SDR Console), the toolchain can change the priority list to set that satellite to the top.
I have tried editing SDRSatelliteTracking_AutomaticPasses.xml, but that appears to be only read at startup, not automatically reloaded upon editing (understandable if it's not intended to be user edited).
Are there any other options I could investigate to achieve dynamic satellite priority setting?
Kind regards,
Lance - VK7TO ..
