SDR Cvonsole crash playing recording

Hi


SDR Console crashes as soon as I select REC/PLAYBACK and hit the open icon to choose a file.
I get the blue circle for a few seconds and then Console completely crashes
I never get any further than hitting the open yellow folder icon

I have tried a uninstall and complete re instlall but no joy

Any help appreciated

I5 comp with 8gb Ram

What kind of recording? Assume from description (using the "Open" button) that it is data?

Just a standard recording made in Console
I cant get any further than clicking the folder open icon in Rec/Playback so I dont think its the type of recording, the blue circle comes up for 5 secs and console disappears, I have re previously run many recordings but obviously I cant get to see the Folders/Files etc

Can you try to take a screenshot (probably need to use Snipping Tool) of Console at the point where the next click makes it crash, and post it on here?

Wont allow me to post the image on here, I can email screen recording. its at the point you hit the open button in Rec/Playback
3 secs of the blue circle and Console disappears

You should be able to post the image on here. When making the post, click on "Full Editor and Preview" (below the box you're typing in) and then in the new editor that appears, click on "attachments", again, below the typing window.

Ian. Just attach it. It's not easy to place inline images on PHPBB as far as I can tell.

When you say "Just a standard recording" you mean just audio then?
