Dark Mode for Console?

Unread post by G0OFE »

Hi Simon,

How easy would it be to implement a Dark Mode display on Console?

I am using it on many of my programs now and it is much more comfortable on the eye.

not exactly what you (and i) want but this comes close Jim, "Waterfall" and "Colour": Black& White

A lot of work to generate a new MFC Style (Theme) - the source is available from Microsoft for the current styles, it involves:
  • Compiling (no mean feat)
  • Editing many small bitmaps
  • Updating many preset colour definitions
To be honest I'm surprised that a company hasn't already done this and made the styles available for purchase.

Different framework. I can do it - maybe 2021. Want to play 3D programming in Q4 2020. Meshes and other exciting things.
