Soundcard I/Q Conversion

Sorry if I might have gotten this wrong,
But I had the impression that console could be used to do soundcard I/Q Conversion and could do bi directional sync with Omnirig ..

Yet I am stuck on radio definitions ...

It seems I'm mistaken?
