Installed a much longer antenna after replacing it back in May due to winds. I also discovered long runs of galvanized fence wire laying on the ground in "storage", so I connected one of them to the ground lug of the 9:1 unun. The unun was already grounded via a copper plate several feet underground with #6 copper wire. The wire in "storage" happened to be parallel to the antenna and directly beneath it. I say storage since it's laying on the ground between the cattle pasture and stone wall. There's about 20-50' of no man's land there with trees that grew into the pasture. If's it out on the edge of the pasture, my brush hog may get ahold of it and wind it up nice and tight on my brush hog blades.
Ask me how I know.
Looks like the nose floor on 75m dropped too! Was S5 or more, now only S3.
