Hi All,
After some years on a small N95 W10 / W11 NUC in my computer room, the forums are now hosted professionally using Akamai , I'm sure you notice the difference in speed - was ~15 MB/s up, now 4GB/s up, that's 250x faster! Using professional hosting brings hardware and general infrastructure resilience - it costs of course, paid for my advertising revenue.
None of this would have been possible without the expertise of Richard Cornwell, K9RCP.
Now that the forums are rocking, I'll be more active here.

Also,
Because I was an early adopter, I don't pay to use the groups.io mailing list when moving from Yahoo!. Should I have to pay in the future then the price would be crippling, so we have the forums as a fallback.
On the mailing list, as of April 13th, 2026 there are 7362 members. At $0.44/member billed annually, that's $3,239 a year.
Currently I'm paying Akamai $24 a month.
