It's all about the Software

When CW mode active, a means to park the peak of the CW signal in the middle of the filter window, like many HF transceiver's can do. I think it's essentially a search for peak signal strength +/- from the current VFO.

SDRConsole has now become my fav SDR software, and I keep finding more and more wonderful and powerful features.

If I could make one request... That would be a configurable RX window (?) Tile (?) that can float, rather than the current offering....

Support in the way of a macro-editor for automating SDRConsole.
Specifically, being able to map a key combo triggered by an external keypad (could be connected via USB, might be Bluetooth) input to the program, and have it kick off one or more...

Many times, I'm just listening to some radio while the satellite AOS starts without paying attention. It is switching at LOS, but if changed, it won't come back automatically when the recording starts. I have to do that manually.

would it be possible to integrate a kind of logbook that can be filled with the basic information, date, time, frequency and manually add station, transmitter, remarks and so on.
Or is there a 3rd party tool already available? Have not found...

It would be nice to turn the radio on (and record) automatically when the scheduler enters AOS and turn it off after LOS. This will allow keeping the system off while idle, and only turn on radio when required.

In the old days of analogue broadcast satellites it was quite easy to align the dish using a sat finder with an audio output where the tone frequency corresponded to signal strength.
The higher the tone the stronger the signal.

I like to use SAM for calibration and yours seems to work well as I can hear the PLL zero beating. Please provide a little window or place it with FFT information showing lock status and differial. Thanks, John.

Using the TOH feature works but it includes all the daytime hours that I (and most others, I'd think) have no interest in recording. I'd request that a time of day selection be added, please.

I used to have the recifer Pane on a second monitor.
But the recifer pane needs to be way more brighter than the main waterfall window.
To wind up the brightnes on the 2. monitor is not an option because this will be anoying.

So a separate slider...

It'd be nice to have a AOS time for the satellites , or even just for 1 satellite as that's all i generally monitor (ISS) atm , something like the sunrise/sunset time format currently used , if possible :mrgreen:

When you activate the Geostationery beacon tracking I find it dificult to se if you have turn on or off the tracking, so I just aske if iwould be possible to add a text On/Off insted of a small/big arrow ????
